Checklist: BodyWorks Train-The-Trainer
Before Training
- p Promote your BodyWorks train-the-trainer session and begin to recruit potential trainers.
Check out the trainer resources including recruitment and promotion materials: www.womenshealth.gov/bodyworks/trainers/
- p Audio/Visual needs: laptop for BodyWorks presentation, TV/DVD player to play Let's Shop, Cook, and Eat Together DVD
- p E-mail reminder to participants two days before training
- p Order toolkits at www.womenshealth.gov/BodyWorks/trainers/ordering.cfm
- p Print Train-the-Trainer & Parent and Caregiver training manuals and make PowerPoint CDs
- p Order food and beverages (healthy breakfast, afternoon snack, water, coffee, and tea)
- p Create nametags and tent cards
- p Provide paper and pens for participants
- p Provide flip board/chart for writing
Day of Training
- p Provide participants with the BodyWorks website:
www.womenshealth.gov/bodyworks, and point them to:
- Recruitment materials
- Toolkit ordering instructions
- Listserv instructions
- BodyWorks contact information
- p Ask participants to fill out kit cards. Collect and send back to:
